Oxide
Compute protocol / brutalist mono system.
Oxide is a verifiable-compute protocol set entirely in JetBrains Mono on a pure white canvas: hairline black borders, zero radii, no gradients, no shadows, and one radioactive lime accent. The hero is the brutalist-grid preset with subject none; the spec itself is the imagery. It is the inverse of drift's hot-pink shout: the same certainty, delivered as a man page. If a section can't be expressed as a bordered box with a stat in it, oxide doesn't ship it.
Read the source. Oxide is an open protocol for verifiable compute, the kind of brand that thinks documentation is design. Everything is monospace, every section is bordered, every number is a stat. The contract is twelve lines. If you can't read it in one sitting, it isn't a protocol, it's a product.
Anatomy
Fictional brutalist monospace compute protocol. The whole landing is JetBrains Mono, hairline borders, and a single radioactive green accent on a pure white canvas. No radii, no gradients, no shadows; the typography and the 1px grid ARE the identity. Proves the brutalist-grid preset: medium: typographic + subject: none + relation: flat.
Hero composition
Pure white canvas, full-bleed. A 12-column hairline grid overlay sits behind the content at 8% opacity (border-left: 1px solid #000, opacity 0.08). The hero headline is JetBrains Mono 700 at clamp(64px, 11vw, 152px), letter-spacing -0.04em, line-height 0.92, max-width 14ch, left-aligned. An eyebrow row above the title shows an 8x8px solid #00FF66 square next to a [v0.8.2 · MAINNET] label. Below the headline sits a bordered cta-shell (height 48px, 1px black border, no radius) split into a $ prompt segment and a black 'copy' button; it reads as a literal terminal command. A 4-column hero-meta row with 1px top border closes the section. Every section across the page repeats this rhythm: 1px black border, sp-7 (96px) vertical padding, label-muted eyebrow in [BRACKETS], left-aligned content. The proof: typography + a 1px grid + one green dot is the entire hero.

Tone. terse, technical, command-line minimalism; reads like a man page with opinions
- Compute you can verify. Protocol you can read.
- oxide is an open protocol for verifiable compute. No servers to trust, no opaque runtimes, no silicon lottery.
- The contract is twelve lines. If you can't read it in one sitting, it isn't a protocol, it's a product.
- Trust is a debt. Proof is a payment.
- Open the protocol or get out of the way.
